Just a few days ago Lenovo has announced the couple of Android smartphones and tablets. These upcoming Lenovo Android Tablets are Lenovo LePad S2005, Lenovo LePad S2007 and Lenovo LePad S2010. These all three tablets vary according to the integrated display size and few specifications. Lenovo LePad S2007 is a 7-inch Honeycomb Android-based standard tablet PC which will be releasing in the month of December or Q1 of 2012.
If we talk about the hardware configuration of Lenovo LePad S2007 tablet then we will find it has got a dual-core scorpion processor which clocks at 1.5 GHz. All of the hardware of this tablet is integrated over Snapdragon Qualcomm chipset. If we talk about the memory of this tablet, it has got the 1GB RAM (physical memory) and 8 GB of inbuilt storage memory. Lenovo has also powered this device with a microSD card slot and it is able to support microSD card up to 32GB. This Lenovo LePad S2007 runs on Android OS, v3.2 (Honeycomb) platform.
The exact dimensions of Lenovo LePad S2007 are not yet available but it has got the 9.7 mm of thickness. If we compare its thickness with other standard tablets then we will find it is less sleek to Acer tablets. The weight of Lenovo LePad S2007 is around 360 g. There is a 7 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen display which supports the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 16M colors and the multi-touch input.
In camera configuration Lenovo LePad S2007 is pretty good as it has 8MP primary camera and 1.3MP secondary camera. This primary camera click the image with a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels and also features as LED flash supports it. In networks, it can support GSM and CDMA networks both. There is a standard Li-Ion battery of 3780 mAh in this tablet which offers a long battery backup. For connectivity and data sharing purposes it has got Wi-Fi with hotspot, Bluetooth and microUSB v2.0.
