In the present market of tablet PCs, a wide range of tablet PCs are available. Few of them are superior, few of them are standard and few of them are basic tablet PC. Now, Panasonic is going to bring one new category, called the tough tablet PC. This tablet PC is Panasonic Toughpad A1. It will be tough in design and constructions as its name suggests.
If we talk about the construction and design of Panasonic Toughpad A1, then we will find it is much heavier and thick to other tablets which are present in the market. This tablet is going to be rough and tough tablet. In spite of this all the design of this tab is pretty interesting and impressive. It has got dimensions as 267 x 211 x 17 mm and it weighs around 966 g. This shows its thickness and weight are out of idle range but it gives the characteristics of toughness. It consists of a 10.1 inches capacitive touchscreen display which is able to support the resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels and multi-touch.
The hardware configuration Panasonic Toughpad A1 is pretty well as it consists of a dual-core Marvell processor which clocks at 1.2 GHz. The GPU hardware used in this tab is not yet known. Its RAM is of 1GB (physical memory). There is 16GB of internal memory storage in it. Furthermore, Panasonic has provided a microSD card and it is able to support the microSD card up to 32GB maximum memory. Panasonic Toughpad A1 runs on Android OS, v3.2 (Honeycomb) platform.
The camera configuration Panasonic Toughpad A1 is supported by two cameras. Secondary is of 2MP (1600 x 1200 pixels) and Primary camera is of standard 5 MP. This camera can click an image shot with 2592 x 1944 pixels of resolution. Features as LED flash are present in it. It consists of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro USB for data sharing and connectivity purposes. It also has mini HDMI. This tab will come with a standard Li-Ion 4590 mAh.
